My Work Below I have highlighted pieces of work that I feel best reflect my talents in the space of content creation and public relations. 01 Meati PR Campaign Simple yet effective public relations campaign for the company Meati. They were looking to kick off their products through retailers in the upcoming summer of 2022. 02 L’Oréal Brandstorm- L'Oréal Jumpstart Pitch The main focus of this project was gender inclusivity in the beauty industry and to open up that space of acceptance and understanding for males. Companies have the upper hand in roles that individuals can take for themselves and with this project, it was my objective to be that initial starting point for males to feel comfortable in using the beauty industry to their advantage 03 DePaul South Asian Student Association Content created for Depaul University's South Asian Student Association.This organization highlighted the South Asian culture with hosting themed events for students to learn and enjoy. DEPAULSASA 04 Radio DePaul- Fresh Eyes Radio Content created for Radio Depaul's Fresh Eyes Radio.This organization recorded podcasts following the lives of Muslim college students to gain perspectives on their day to day lives and to spark conversations on struggled faced and lessons learned.This content was displayed on the Instagram page to promote weekly shows and upcoming in- person events. FRESHEYESRADIO CLOTHEDUP 05 ClothedUp As a social media intern for the company Clothed Up, I created content for their main social media platform, Pinterest to share the company's blog on fashion + lifestyle. 06 EA Collective During my time as a marketing intern at EA Collective, I developed skills in Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and client/industry research. Working closely with marketing and business development, I created an Industry Research deck outlining crucial events in the experiential marketing field for company awareness. Writing Samples Here are a few examples that demonstrate my writing skills: In this first piece, I explore the improvements in representing South Asian culture in Western media based on my own observations and research. I also discuss accessibility in the beauty industry through a blog post, reflecting my creative interests. Additionally, I share my experiences during my internship at EA Collective in Chicago. Lastly, I evaluate how Vera Bradley keeps loyal customers with sales initiatives inside their stores in a well-researched news story, highlighting their success in the retail market. 01 From Bollywood to Hollywood Op- Ed As an individual of South Asian descent, I have often grappled with the lack of representation of people who look like me in the media. However, I do believe that Western media has made strides in improving representation, and this Op-Ed piece highlights a few examples of this progress. Companies like Estée Lauder, L'oreal, and Rare Beauty have introduced voice-enabled apps, specialized lipstick applicators, and disability-friendly packaging, aiming to promote independence and confidence among all consumers and foster a more diverse and equitable beauty industry. I had the privilege of interning with them from October 2022 to March 2023, and in this report, I will outline some of my primary responsibilities during my time with the company.
